Now you may be asking yourself "what the heck is teddy bear toss, and what does it have to do with hockey?" Well, this video answers that question far better than I can explain it here.

Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears to the game, and to throw them onto the ice when the home team scores its first goal. Don't worry, teddy bears will be available for sale at the game... they've got you covered if you don't want to get too close to a toy store this week! The toys are then gathered up to be donated as Christmas presents to Valley Youth House, a local children's charity.
