Top 5 reasons to take an ONLINE class with Dan's

Scott Piccotti • Aug 26, 2022

1. Traffic? What traffic?

We get it. Our location right off Rt. 22 is easy to get to, but sometimes the traffic is more than you want to deal with. Skip the drive and join in from home.

"I was nervous about doing this class virtually. Well, I was absolutely blown away after this class because I learned so much and I don't feel like I missed out by not sitting in the classroom. I am so excited to sign up for my next class!"

 – Beth T., Emmaus, PA

2. You live where?

The Lehigh Valley is great. We've got Musikfest, we've got Yocco's, we've got MeLVin... but we can't expect everybody to live here. If you're a little (or a lot) further away, an online class can make a lot of sense. We've had people join us from Washington, Texas, and even the UK!

3. Weekend plans

Most of our classes are on Saturdays. But if you've got other plans for the weekend (we're looking at you, parents with kids who play three different sports), one of our online classes on a weeknight might be a great fit for your busy schedule.

4. Instant replay

Miss anything? Want to go back and review something we talked about in class? For an extra $5, you can get the recording of your class to watch whenever you want. You get your specific session (not a canned, pre-recorded video) including all the questions and discussion that happened during class.

"Many thanks for this online class which I am very glad that I signed up for. Being based in the UK and receiving the recordings after the live showing was useful in many ways- being able to listen to the talks again and the ability to make copious notes for future reference. I've learnt so much more about my camera and the numerous functions hidden away in the Menu!"

 – Grenville S., East Dereham, Norfolk, UK

5. Better dress code

Want to come to class in your favorite comfy slippers? No problem.

Dan's offers a ton of classes and workshops year-round, and we're always looking for new ways to help people have more fun with photography. We hope to see you soon- in our classroom, online, or out on location!
