Photographing pets in any setting can be challenging. Whether it's indoors or outdoors there are always multiple factors to consider. Join Dan's Camera City and Sony for a fun pet photography class with your model Pogo and guest instructor Gene Szucs, where you'll learn how to start capturing amazing photos of your furry friends.

Bring your own camera or demo a Sony camera/lens for free at this event. Please bring an extra memory card if you are going to be using Sony loaner gear.

About your instructor

Gene Szucs is a New York based editorial photographer, whose focus is to tell the truth as he sees it at any given moment.

His work has been featured in numerous domestic and international publications, and TV networks, sports/entertainment venues, and news programs around the world. His work has been featured in Der Spiegel, Deutsch Vella Television, New York’s Fox and Friends, PBS Broadcasting, Madison Square Garden, New Jersey’s Prudential Center, and many other outlets. He has won two consecutive awards for arena show design, and culled two Telly awards for commercial work.

Currently, he also serves as a regional trainer for Sony Digital Imaging in the New York Metro area.

About your model

Pogo is a 9-year-old smooth coat collie. He was a rescue, adopted when he was 2 years old. He's earned his Canine Good Citizen Certification and is a trained agility dog. He has competed in USDAA trials for the past 6 years and runs in demos with the Lehigh Valley Dreamweavers Agility Club. Good boy, Pogo.
