A year-end message from Mike

Dec 21, 2015

Every December we stop to reflect back on the past year, and this year I’m especially proud of our staff for always making your needs and memories their first priority. The one thing that’s been constant these past many years is change - the devices we use to capture our photos, the way we share them, and the way we display them all are evolving. Keeping up with all those changes isn’t easy. Year after year, Dan’s has grown in our breadth of products and services thanks to the dedication of our staff.

new at Dan’s this year: cameras that fly!

While Dan’s is a small company, we’re fortunate to have the resources and partners we need not only keep up with the changes, but to be a national leader in our industry. Our new micro-stock service Lehigh Valley Art Stock is beginning to take shape. This offers local artists a venue to sell and showcase their work while allowing consumers and businesses to find superior imagery to fill their needs.

We’ve also been fortunate to experience fantastic growth in our services for schools - capturing portraits, producing yearbooks, and much more. And it’s always nice to see so many happy parents when we deliver those school pictures! New services like these (along with those that we have provided for decades) help us to keep creating better memories, and are ensuring Dan’s continued prosperity along the way.

Kevin and I are very excited and optimistic as we look ahead, we have some great things in store for 2016! We thank you for your continued support, and pledge to continue our efforts to provide the best products and services possible. We appreciate having you as part of the extended Dan’s family, and look forward to seeing you soon.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season!

The "solar maximum" is letting us see the Aurora Borealis unusually far south this year. Here's how to increase your chances of seeing them here in Pennsylvania. ALERT: Strong G3-class geomagnetic storms are possible today, May 11th , when a CME is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. During G3-class storms auroras have been sighted in the USA as far south as Oregon, Nebraska and Virginia. (via spaceweather.com )
